The yellow-coated, steel blade is protected by a layer of Nylon that provides excellent resistance to abrasion as well as prolonging the life of the blade. The blade is tipped by a robust and reinforced 3-rivet end hook that automatically adjusts to take into account both internal and external measurements.
The smooth-drive mechanism and blade are further protected by a shock-proof, impact-resistant rubber case that also provides an extremely comfortable grip for those using the tape on a regular basis. The rubber finish also helps to prevent this tape from slipping from surfaces making it ideal for working at height. The case is complemented by a strong, metal belt clip that ensures your investment stays securely with you at all times!
This tape is accurate to EC Class II standards and features both metric and imperial markings along its 8m length. Unlike most tape measures, the imperial scale sees each 1/8th of an inch individually picked out in text (see product images) for easy reading.

Saturday Delivery - Customers ordered before 2pm (Mon-Fri) can choose to have their tapes delivered on or before 12.30pm on Saturday. Orders placed after that time cannot be despatched on time for a Saturday delivery.
