With a truly incredible 4m standout from their 32mm wide blade, these tapes are quite literally the market leaders when it comes to professional pocket tapes. Get one in your hand, feel the weight and the quality and you'll understand why. The blade itself is 5m long with metric only graduations along its length and is coated with Mylar. It's therefore a full 10 times more resistant to scuffing and damage from abrasion than a normal lacquered blade.
Stanley's patented 'Blade Armor' on the blade's first 6 inches is yet another remarkable innovation and helps to prevent breakages at the weakest point of the tape. Unlike many other tapes, The FatMax's blade has a hi-vis coating and easy-read markings making it hard to lose and easy to read.
At the tip of the blade you'll find a 3 rivet, 'tru-zero' hook that delivers, accurate measurements, immense strength and helps to resist breakages caused by rewind. The hook is also a full 150% bigger than conventional end hooks and is shaped to allow for regular measurements, side measurements and even overhead measurements.
All of this is encased with a super-robust bi-material case not found on any other tapes on sale today. Not only is it comfortable and ergonomic, it's also incredibly strong, protecting your investment into the future.

This tape is really solid - the best I've had. I always bought cheap ones which broke easily but this will last for years. A bit weighty but that just shows how strong it is - i dropped it from a ladder when I got it and it was fine. No scratches nothing. Really wide tape, big end piece and easy to read.
