Cable Detection EZiTEX t100xf Signal Generator

Durable, compact and incredibly easy to use, the Cable Detection EZiTEX T100xf is a highly capable signal generator designed to complement Cable Detection's range of EZiCAT 'xf' cable avoidance tools. 'XF' denotes the two additional low frequencies that can be emitted from the T100xf (512 Hz & 640 Hz ) that can be picked up by compatible cable avoidance tools. These two new frequencies allow the user to detect signals over much longer distances.

Anyone using a cable avoidance tool should always use it in conjunction with a compatible signal generator.. Only a small portion of a CAT's functionality can be used without pairing it with a genny... Anything not emitting a signal/charge will not be picked up without one.

Highly durable

Built to last thanks to its impact resistant, super-tough case and IP65 protection (waterproof), this advanced signal generator is still surprisingly light and easy to carry around all day.

The intuitive controls are placed conveniently on the outside of the case meaning that the unit doesn't have to be opened during heavy rainfall. What's more the built in test function allows the user to assess the unit's performance before use, thereby ensuring that it's working to the best of its abilities.

Four tracing frequencies

Unlike most signal generators, the EZiTEX t100xf includes two additional low frequency modes that allow the operator to trace signals over much greater distances. This model features the same 33khz and 8khz modes of its sibling, the t100, albeit with the added benefit of 512hz and 640hz modes. We would always recommend using either the t100xf or t300xf with any xf series CAT in order to get the most out of your cable location equipment.
