The Trumeter 5500 Measuremeter is a mechanical metric measuring wheel that sets new standards in accuracy and quality for wheels in its class. The large, easy to read display measures up to 9,999.9m (metres and decimetres), adds going forward and subtracts in reverse whilst the robust, telescopic handle collapses for easy carrying in the free carrying bag.
A fold-down stand keeps the 5500 Measuremeter upright in between measuring runs whilst the pointer tells the user exactly where to start and stop measuring. Finally, like all Trumeter products this wheel is protected by their excellent 12 month warranty.

Works on rough finished concrete

I bought this product for my business (Property) primarily for measuring internal walls when estimating for decorating (far better than a laser ever will be as it works around corners). However before getting a chance to use it for this I have had cause to use it outside on stippled concrete (slightly dappled surface that channels water), and found it to be as accurate as a tape measure (only doubled checked as I thought some of the yard was rather bumpy and it may have thrown the wheel out). I would also recommend having the wheel calibrated, as the certificate gives you a breakdown of the accuracy of the product over different distances, allowing you to factor in if measuring a vast meterage.

I would recommend the Trumeter 5500 for road jobs, seems simple and comfortable to use. I would recommend going for this mechanical model over the electronic but that's just my opinion.

As a dog agility judge a measuring wheel is very useful . This works perfectly for accurately measuring out the courses
